Ziran is a collaborative brand founded by shaper Andy Teasdale and artist Zach Rush.
Andy shapes all Ziran boards completely by hand, and sees them all the way through to the glassing and sanding stages himself. He has a passion for board building and is inspired by the surfer/shapers throughout history who not only shape, but build boards start to finish by hand. He believes it creates a much deeper connection to the surfboard under your feet. The boards are inspired by the classic southern Californian shapes he was surrounded by during his earlier years growing up in San Diego.
Ziran focuses on alternative equipment with performance, durability, style and high quality craftsmanship in mind, using the industries highest quality materials.
